1. Tubing head structure

The tubing head is usually a large cross with flanges at both ends, which is installed on the upper flange of the casing head to suspend the tubing string and seal the annular space between the tubing string and the reservoir casing. It consists of tubing head and tubing hanger.

2. Function of tubing head

1) Suspend the tubing string in the well;

2) Annulus for sealing oil pipe and casing;

3) Provide transition for lower casing head and upper Christmas tree connection;

4) Complete casing injection, well flushing and other operations through two side openings on the tubing head spool
