Forging gear and ring gear blank process
BAOHUA uses a seamless rolled ring process to provide forged gear manufacturers with shape, size and material flexibility, lower volume requirements and near-finished shapes to save on final machining costs. Higher quality and increased strength and wear in forged gear blanks is achieved from contoured grain flow, reduced grain size and thermal processing that improves mechanical properties and metallurgical soundness from the open die forging process. All of our forgings go through hot die forging, roughing, heat treatment and other processes, and most of them can be finished to reach final assembly conditions.
Customers in any industry using gears can request a quote for any quantity of forged gears, from one prototype at a time and small batches to high volume production. Our extensions include gear cutting to finished gear size.
