Bearing Housing
Also known as hinge box, it is a box part that plays the role of supporting and lubricating bearings. At the same time, it can bear the axial and radial forces generated when the equipment is working. In the equipment with rotating shaft, the shaft is generally rotated by the bearing. The bearing is installed in the bearing box, which is filled with lubricating oil. During operation, bearings are used for lubrication. At the same time, various forces on the shaft during operation will also be transmitted to the bearing box, which will bear the load. The bearings are divided into standard type, adjustable type, flange type and large opening type.
Standard type: several techniques for installing with snap ring and fixed plate. Avoid bearing sleeve deformation caused by set screw.
Adjustable type: also called small opening type, the bearing is perpendicular to the opening of the bearing box.
Flange type: when installing linear bearing, the boring accuracy of bearing box needs to be accurate.
Large opening type: if there is a proper bearing seat fit, the clearance can be adjusted or even the preload can be reduced by increasing the opening type.
